Yulia Bulashenko (b. 1990) is a Barcelona-based artist whose creative path has always revolved around light, color, and atmosphere.
With a background in film and photography, Yulia dedicated over a decade to crafting the intangible moods behind moving images. Through color grading, she shaped the narrative tones of movies, music videos, and commercials before transitioning to canvas as her medium.
Yulia approaches painting as a space for unfiltered, instinct-led creation. Each canvas invites the viewer to stop, sense, and imagine — allowing meaning to unfold uniquely for each gaze.
For Yulia, abstraction is not about detachment from reality, but a way to express what cannot be captured visually — raw emotions, hidden impulses, and moments that slip beyond direct representation.
