Blue Valley

Blue settles slowly over the desert.
The last warmth leaves the ground,
the wind disappears,
and the sky opens wider than before.

Somewhere between day and night,
everything softens.
Edges blur into silence,
distance loses its weight.

There is a kind of peace here
that asks for nothing.
A stillness so vast
it feels untouched by time.

The valley remains quiet beneath it all —
holding the blue light
a little longer
before the dark arrives.
